Workshop Prospectus

Interested in having Pam East come teach a workshop in your location?

 

Pam offers multi day enameling on metal clay workshops for either silver or copper clay. She is happy to work with private groups, larger guilds, or retail shops. 

Expenses Paid by Host

Pam has no minimum number of students and will teach a maximum of 15 provided the venue has adequate space and equipment to accommodate them.

​

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve workshop dates. Flight cost must be paid when the tickets are purchased and is non-refundable.

​

A detailed tool and supply list will be provided for the class. A minimum of one kiln per five students is recommended.

Fee Schedule

  • Flat fee: $600 per day for up to 10 students. Minimum 3 days.

  • $50 per student per day for any number over 10 and up to a max of 15 students. ($650 per day for 11 students, $700 for 12, etc.)

Air Travel

  • Airfare and flight insurance from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Insurance covers trip cancellation or interruption for reasons beyond my or the host's control (weather, airport strikes, etc.) Transportation to and from your airport.

Ground Travel

  • Assumes driving distance- 54 cents per mile, round trip. 

Lodging

  • Local hotel or host home (private bedroom required)

Meals

  • Meals- Host provides all meals

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy for classes varies depending on where I am teaching. Each venue has its own policy.

Home Studio Cancellation Policy:

Student cancels class:

​

Up to 2 weeks prior to class: 90% refund

Up to 72 hours prior to class: 50% refund

Less than 72 hours prior to class: No Refunds

​

Teacher cancels class: 

Should I be required to cancel a class at any point prior to the class date. students will receive a 100% refund. If I must cancel class mid-way through due to illness of other emergency, I will provide a full refund of teaching fees, but students may be responsible for materials used.

Note: In the last 15 years I have been teaching, I have never cancelled a class once it started. I mention this only in the interest of clear communication.
