Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy for classes varies depending on where I am teaching. Each venue has it's own policy. I currently teach classes in my home studio and at John C. Campbell Folk School.
Home Studio Cancellation Policy:
Student cancels class:
Up to 2 weeks prior to class: 90% refund
Up to 72 hours prior to class: 50% refund
Less than 72 hours prior to class: No Refunds
Teacher cancels class:
Should I be required to cancel a class at any point prior to the class date, students will recieve a 100% refund. If I must cancel class mid way through due to illness or other emergency, I will provide a full refund of teaching fees, but students may be responsible for materials used. Note: in the 10 years I have been teaching, I have never cancelled a class once it started. I mention this only in the interest of clear communication.
