\nArt Clay Silver is a fantastic medium that allows you to create jewelry or other decorative fine-silver pieces without traditional metalsmithing equipment. When wet\, Art Clay can be rolled\, pressed\, and molded. Design your own pieces\, then discover how to enamel for color using a variety of techniques. Techniques will focus on creating your own photo-polymer plates and Champleve enameling with shading. \;
\nThe instructor will provide all the tools and equipment necessary for the projects. Consumable materials\, such as Art Clay Silver and Enamels will be purchased separately. \;
\nNo prior metal clay or enameling experience is required for this class. \;All levels welcome.

\nLearn to create unique box pendants using non-traditional Art Clay Silver techniques. We will explore fitted lids\, hinges\, and many other techniques. \;

Champleve' Enameling is the process of creating impressions in metal\, and filling those impressions with enamels. \;This two day\, hands-on workshop will focus on creating silver clay pieces suitable for champleve' enameling\, applying the enamels to achieve shaded effects\, and finishing the piece to create a smooth\, continuous surface. \;
\nThe class fee includes the use of tools and equipment necessary for the project in class. Consumable materials\, such as Art Clay Silver and Enamels will be purchased separately. \;

This fast-paced class will cover beginning techniques all the way through producing beautiful\, consistent beads. Topics include introduction to basic bead making\, color and shaping\, and more.
